July Update

From L to R: Natalie, Rachel, Amanda, Me, Shanda

Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise His holy name. Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things He does for me.
He forgives all my sins
and heals all my diseases.
He redeems me from death
and crowns me with love and tender mercies.
Psalm 103:1-4

Be Encouraged
I’ve been reading the Psalms over the past few days and thought I would share a few verses that have encouraged (and convicted) me. Over the last month, it’s been an incredible encouragement to spend time with my family, see friends, celebrate weddings, enjoy coffee shops, go to the library, indulge in free refills, and spend time with all of you!

Preparing & Planning
I jumped into a Titus 2 Women’s Bible Study (a study I’ve been wanting to do for years!) a few weeks ago and am learning un montón (a lot). The Lord opened up the perfect opportunity to go through this summer study with a group of ladies, and hopefully, I’ll be able to use this material with my discipleship group when I return to Úbeda. Spanish translation for this study began a little over a month ago! Sovereign timing? I think so!

I am continuing my classes at Dallas Theological Seminary this Fall via online. My very first class of seminary (2 yrs ago) really started off on the wrong foot. I didn’t know we would have reading assignments due the first day of class, let alone a book! Hopefully I’ve learned something since then! I will be taking History of the Old Testament this Fall and am looking forward to it. I’ve met my professor, printed my syllabus, acquired my textbook, and yes, have started my reading assignments that are due the first day (88 pages + the book of Genesis).

While the familiar things are encouraging and edifying, I am hoping to return to Spain very soon (August)! I will return as soon as support needs are met and hopefully, begin language school (in Catalunya) within the next 30 days. If the Lord has been leading you to partner in serving as a sender, please let CAM International know as soon as possible.

Support Update:

* Amt Needed: $4,602.92 One-Time / $1,879.96 Per Month

* Amt Provided: 50% One-Time / 55% Per Month

* Amt To Go: 50% One-Time / 45% Per Month

Thank You
Thank you for coming together with many and being a part of this ministry to the Spanish people. One of my greatest joys in my time back, has been the time I’ve spent face to face with my supporters. Thank you, again, I thank you, for the incredible privilege it is to represent your love for the Father to those that don’t know Him.

To the glory of His Name,
